While the Il Makiage product page doesn’t confirm whether their primer is non-comedogenic, I’ve done the research for you. Neither of the trusted websites I use flagged any ingredients in the Il Makiage primer as pore-clogging.
Here are the ingredients:
Cyclopentasiloxane, Dimethicone crosspolymer, Isohexadecane, Octyldodecanol, Polysilicone-11, Polygl-yceryl-4 isostearate, Dimethicone/vinyl dimethicone crosspolymer, Dimethiconol.
The primer results:
After checking the ingredients on multiple websites, yes, it is non-comedogenic!
This is fantastic news for those of us with oily, acne-prone skin.
I always use these two websites to confirm if beauty products are acne-safe:
Skincarisma: confirms: no clogging ingredients found.

AcneClinicNYC: confirms: no clogging ingredients found.

How much is the primer?
It’s £42 (25ml), available from IlMakiage.com. Use code ‘welcome10’ for 10% off your first order. It’s free delivery over £50. I’d normally recommend a brush but you don’t need one for primer – fingers are best to warm it up to make smoothing it on better.
Is the Il Makiage primer good?
Yes, I think so! I use it to smooth out my skin, so foundation looks better and stays on for longer. It helps to smooth out fine lines, and fill in pores, so foundation looks a lot better. I wouldn’t ever use foundation without it because otherwise, it flakes literally straight away.
